Corona Virus Related Information

Dear Valued Customers,
 
With outbreak of Novel Corona Virus, we are overwhelmed with customers querying us for changes in their itinerary. In these tough times we would request you to cooperate with us. Be assured we are doing our best to address all our customers in due time.
 
Due to large number of customer queries, we have prioritized ones that have travel within 3 rolling days. In case your travel is scheduled for a later time, we request you to be patient and allow us time while we attend to immediate needs of fellow travellers. We also request our valued customer to refer to public domain to get additional informatoin related to their travel. At this stage due to frequently changing situation, we or airline might not be able to reach out to everyone. Hence, we request your kind cooperation and best of your understanding.

31th March 2020 -Due to Restrictions related to COVID-19 our Operating Hours have changed. We will be available from 9am to 10.30 pm Monday to Saturday. Please call us during the operating hours. Sorry for the inconvenience.

26th March 2020 - Travel restrictions for passengers travelling to/transiting through Hong Kong.
 
Entry restrictions -
Effective from 25 March 2020 (00:00 HKT), only Hong Kong residents with following documents will be permitted to enter Hong Kong:
  • Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card.
  • Hong Kong SAR passport or British National (Overseas) passport (with right of abode in Hong Kong).
  • Hong Kong Identity Card (this needs to be accompanied with a valid work or study visa).

Non-Hong Kong residents will be denied entry into Hong Kong.

Entry restriction exemptions -

  • Passengers travelling from Mainland China, Taiwan or Macao SAR and have not been to other country/region in past 14 days.
  • Passengers travelling on a diplomatic passports.
  • The spouse and children of Hong Kong residents.
  • Local government personnel performing official duties.
  • Personnel approved by the Hong Kong SAR government to carry out anti-epidemic work.

Passengers falling into this exemption category must still meet the minimum 14 days intended/permitted limit of stay in order to meet the 14 days of compulsory quarantine requirements – otherwise entry will be refused

Macao SAR permanent and non-permanent residents can continue to enter Hong Kong with prior transport arrangements with the Macao Tourism Board. Passengers wishing to take advantage of this arrangement must do the following:

  • Register with the Macao SAR government for their Special Traffic Arrangement programme and transport service.
  • Present their Macao SAR passport or Macao SAR electronic identity card to the Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon team at check-in.

Transit restrictions -

  • Passengers are no longer permitted to transit through Hong Kong International Airport.

All sea-to-air ferry services (Greater Bay Area to Hong Kong) and air-to-sea ferry services (Hong Kong to Greater Bay Area) have also been suspended.

Additional entry requirements -

  • A health declaration form must be completed and submitted to the Hong Kong Department of Health on arrival. These forms are distributed onboard all flights to Hong Kong. Alternatively, passengers can submit their details by filling out the online form prior to departure – upon completion, a QR code (valid for 24 hours) will be provided to present to officials on arrival.

Quarantine measures -

Hong Kong SAR residents who have been to the following countries/regions in the past 14 days will be required to undergo 14 days of compulsory quarantine in a government-nominated quarantine facility:

  • China: Hubei
  • Iran
  • Italy: Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Veneto regions
  • South Korea: Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do

All other passengers who are eligible to enter Hong Kong will be required to undergo 14 days of compulsory quarantine, either at home or a hotel.


24th March 2020 - Flights to India are suspended from 00:01 GMT 22 March 2020 until 00:01 GMT 29 March 2020.Indian Government puts a nation wide lock down un till 15th April 2020.

24th March 2020 - As per the UAE government’s directive, Emirates will temporarily suspend all passenger services with effect from 25 March 2020.

24th March 2020 - Regarding covid-19, as per local Gov. advisories, for your's and our team's safely we will not be able to take walk-in customers. To assist our valued customers we are available on 1300 46 2379 from 7am to 10.30pm 7 days a week. Due to such advisories and restrictions imposed by different local governments our team is operating with limited resources. We are trying to assist our valued customers as fast as we can and we would request our valued customer to cooperate with us. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

19th March 2020 - Australia imposes travel ban for all tourists with effect from 20th March 2020 9 PM. Which implies that foriegn travellers will not be allowed to enter Australian territories, though inbound travel remains open for Australian Citizens and permanent residents.
