Itinerary

Day 1.

  • Arrival in Delhi airport.
  • Meet & Assistance by our Representative.
  • Traditional Indian welcome.
  • Drive to Jaipur (300Kms,06hrs) Approx.
  • Assistance upon arrival &Check in at Hotel.
  • Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2.

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit Amber Fort - Situated about 11 kms from Jaipur, it was the ancient capital of the State until 1728. Ascend the hill on elephant back on which the fort is situated (If elephants are not available then jeeps will be provided as alternate). Visit the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of mirrors), Jai Mahal and other palaces within the fort.
  • Nearby is the Observatory, Jantar Mantar, built by Raja Jai Singh in mid-18th century with various instruments for specific functions and accurate readings.
  • The important sights include a visit to the City Palace, part of it is the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur and part of it is converted into a museum. The museum has an excellent collection of miniature paintings; manuscripts etc; its Textile & Costume and armoury section are also worth a look.

Day 3.

  • Drive to Agra (235 Kms /approx 05 Hrs.)
  • En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.

Day 4.

  • Sightseeing tour of Agra - Seven Wonders of the World - the "TAJ MAHAL" it is famous for its world famous “dream in marble”. Built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his favourite Queen Mumtaz to enshrine her mortal remains is a monument to love . Visit the Agra Fort, build over the Mughal period (each emperor adding to it), see various palaces and the Halls of Public and Private Audience .
  • Drive to Delhi (200 km / 04 hrs) approx.

Day 5

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Sightseeing tour of Old Delhi – It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan on the banks of river Yamuna in the early 17th century and was the capital of the Mughal kingdom, drive past Red Fort continue to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and the last great architectural work of the great Mughal builder. Finally visit the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi – the father of the Nation and Jawahar Lal Nehru – first Prime Minister of the Independent India, which are now parks dedicated to their memory .

  • New Delhi – Also known as the Lutyen’s Delhi, it was the capital of the British Empire and is a contrast to Old Delhi. Some important sights that come under the area of New Delhi include Qutab Minar – the tallest stone tower in India built in 1199; India Gate - the War Memorial Arch. Drive past the President’s Estate and Parliament buildings, through Diplomatic Enclave and Connaught Place, main commercial centre of Delhi .
